Rotarians were spotted at the 80s Flashback Weekend held Aug. 2 and 3. Tracy Griffith serves as the 80s Flashback Weekend board president and Joe Griffith was an event advisor. Guy Gooder made an appearance on the Van Halen float, which won first place among the parade entries.
The event, which is a fundraiser for Shriners Children’s Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina, drew more than 2,500 people to downtown Franklin and several Rotary Club members were out enjoying the festivities.
