Rotarian John Hubsch passed away June 9 after a brief battle with cancer. During the June 14 meeting, several members gave “sad dollars” in memory of John and shared their memories of him.
Susie Ledford said Hubsch joined the club when she was serving as president. She remembered him always helping in a quiet, thoughtful way. She had just mailed a card to John, but it was not delivered before he passed away. She encouraged others not to wait to tell someone “thank you” and that you love them.
Dick Pritts said he would miss his table partner and great buddy of the past six years. Pictured is John receiving his Paul Harris +2 in November 2022 with President Paul Garner. Paul said one of his memories of John is doing a program about the Four Way Test at a local school.
