Do you have your calendar marked for Aug. 26? Our annual fundraiser will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. at Lazy Hiker followed by a concert by the V8s featuring our own club members Sean Gibson, Bob McCollum and Tommy Jenkins. Tickets for the drawing will be $125 this year.
Past President Paul Garner presented information about the fundraiser at the July 5 meeting. With the increased ticket price, event sponsorships and reduced expenses, we could net about $26,000 more than last year. The extra proceeds will allow us to contribute to more humanitarian projects. More details (and tickets) to come. We need everyone’s help for another successful event.
