Rotary Club of Franklin members, with help from Daybreak Club members, packed food boxes for the CareNet backpack program on May 11. This was the last workday for the 22-23 school year; we will resume in August.
Gary St. Arnauld “Takes the Cake” for the strangest item found during the May 6 roadside cleanup. He found a lady’s ring that he said might be a gift for his wife’s upcoming birthday, or maybe he and Guy are now engaged. Other items picked up during the cleanup included spoons, a utility marker post, a medallion and a pillow.
