Rotarians and Interact Club members volunteered on Sept. 14 to pack food for 480 students’ backpacks. Participating were 11 Rotary Club of Franklin members, one Daybreak member, five Interact members and one Friend of Rotary.
Mark your calendar for the second Thursday of the month and meet at 4:30 p.m. at the CareNet warehouse on Bidwell Street.
Club members also participated in the Little Tennessee River Cleanup hosted by Mainspring Conservation Trust on Sept. 16. 1.23 tons of litter was collected. Participating were eight Interact members, two Rotary Club of Franklin members and one Daybreak member.
